Plattsburg Senior Center

Senior Center

The Plattsburg Senior Center is here to help insure you get a great noon meal. We are located right in the heart of Plattsburg at 113 N. Main St.

Daily Meals

"Seniors" and their family, guests or friends are always welcome and we offer a great meal Monday through Friday, 11:30 AM. Suggested donation for seniors is $2.75 and $5.00 for the younger generations.

At the present time we serve the communities of Plattsburg, Lathrop, Gower and surrounding areas.

Meals on Wheels

Some 100 meals per day are served via "Meals on Wheels" with the help of over 100 volunteers and three paid employees.

Satellite Radio

We also have resources available to answer questions that often come up.  Access to Satellite Radio and the Senior Network have made a wealth of information available to us.

Book Exchange

The "Paper-back Book" exchange and the "Crossword Puzzle" exchange. are available to all.

The Center was established in 1965 as a not-for-profit organization under the "Older American Act".

The Center is governed by a 12 member board of trustees and the director, Mr. Roger King.

The Center owns the two buildings it now occupies at the Main St Location with no debt. They are equipped with a kitchen, dining area, game room, TV and exercise rooms, and pool table.

A Pitch Tournament is scheduled each Wednesday after lunch and free Bingo each Friday at noon.
